After much agitation, trepidation and preparation I have made the decision to move this blog permanently to another platform (namely - Wordpress). Those who appreciate my sesquipedalian soliloquys are invited to change their bookmarks to:

where will be found a new and (I hope) improved version of the Notebook.

The reasons for this transition are manifold and not terribly interesting - just know that I am now free from the pernicious clutch of the Google-monster, and that is a very good thing (for the uninitiated, Google owns Blogger.com, my previous blogging system). I have been fooling with Wordpress for a while now, and so far it seems thoroughly nifty.

I have ported all previous posts to the new system, along with comments, so nothing was lost. I will leave this notice up at the old Blogger address for a while in the event anyone should arrive in search of rabbity maunderings.

Feel free to let me know how you like the new format (or not ... I will do whatever I want anyway).
